Mr Les Searle – Principal Consultant

Les holds a Bachelor of Applied Science (Surveying) from Queensland University of Technology and a Bachelor of Science with majors in Computer Science and Geography from James Cook University.

Les is:

• a founding member of the Surveying and Spatial Sciences Institute.
• chair of the Qld Northern Group of the Surveying and Spatial Science Institute,
• member of the Spatial Industry Business Association and
• past chairman and member of the Far North Qld GIS Group.
• an adjunct lecturer in remote sensing at James Cook University.

Les has 11 years experience as a field surveyor in private practice and a further 8 years experience as a surveyor in the Qld government. He has 9 years experience as a middle manager within government until commencing his own consultancy practice in 2000.

The wide experience in State Government, extensive local contacts and knowledge and technical capabilities in Surveying, GIS and Spatial Information Management provide an excellent resource for True 3D to provide high quality Spatial Information and Mapping Services. They offer a superior service through their local knowledge and attention to the needs of local clients.
